Beach Cleaning Drive – The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) of Shri Chinai College of Commerce & Economics organised a Beach Cleaning Drive at Juhu Beach on 19th September 2026, following the five-day Ganesh Visarjan celebrations. A total of 27 students participated enthusiastically under the guidance of Principal Dr. B. B. Kamble and the supervision of Prof. Ankita Sawant and Prof. Vinay Jadhav. The students collectively cleaned the beach area and collected waste and litter accumulated after the celebrations. The activity created awareness about environmental conservation, proper waste management and cleanliness of public spaces. The drive also promoted teamwork, social responsibility and environmental consciousness among students while encouraging them to contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
